Nice, I definitely like his attitude and style so far. I don't recall this type of attitude from Dooley when he first joined, but then again, I've tried to forget everything about him.

It could possibly be simple coach speak, but I WANT TO BELIEVE.

From a well respected poster on TOS that is very, very. connected in Memphis.

For you skeptics out there, Galilee's post came after a meeting with Butch Jones in Memphis. His information is coming directly from Jones.

Talked to someone that is in the know in the coaching world (very connected to high school football with in Florida)

The vibe in talking to him has been the Tennessee visits are blowing these kids away, its not about hanging out but also they said the kids are actually learning about the tradition and most are shocked at the new facility. Not sure if we will land a ton of kids but we are giving kids we weren't even in on a a lot to think about.

Lets put it this way.....and laugh if you want to but the SEC elite are pushing up their plans to build facilities like ours, a couple of schools are very nervous about what changes are happening in Knoxville. As I was told, and stressed to me this way, Nothing and I mean nothing beats hard work and determination, and the Tennessee staff right now is out working a lot of staffs and out smarting them, and the problem is for other schools, Tennessee finally has someone that reminds this person of a young Fulmer on the recruiting trail.

It was also stressed to me that the results would come in 2014 and 2015 on the trail and don't get too down if we don't have a top tier class.....the top 5 classes will come.

Enjoy because its from a very very good source in south Florida.

I thought Dooley was going to be alright when he first came too. I like what CBJ is doing so far but he still has very much to prove.

Glad to see they are making a move in Memphis. Memphis has some good players in the SEC. I know a few years ago Calkins did an article on memphis area players in the SEC and there were 33 players from the Memphis area playing on SEC teams. Speaking of Memphis, any news on J. Carr?

Talking to a coach and teacher at White Station HS this morning working out at the gym....he says he feels Carr is the Vols to lose...

Wow, this is the best thing I've heard from Coach Jones since he told us he was going to hire the best staff in the country.

For all of the non believers, I agree that until we actually see it happen then it is all speculation.

However, if you consider all of the players that are talking to and taking OV's that havent even had us on their radar prior to CBJ and staff, then that in it's self is evidence that in a months time they have already changed the preception of the program and the culture within the program. It also shows that what has been posted here today is true with regard to the positivity starting to surround the program and it's future.

It's going to be hard to change a kids mind to the point of switching a commitment in a month. But some will change and I believe starting with Junior day, Volnation will begin to see that the future is so bright you gotta wear :matrix:! Yeah I know that last bit is cheesy

You have it on good authority from some highly placed donors that Gruden is a done deal. All being handled by the donors. Book it, although it is hush, hush so keep it on the down low and if you hear rumors to the contrary it is purely a smoke screen.

Actually, the Gruden rumors are starting to swirl involving the Dallas Cowboys. The Cowboys already have hired former Gruden assistants Bill Callahan (Oakland), Monte Kiffin (Tampa Bay), and Rod Marinelli (Tampa Bay). Speculation centers around Jason Garrett leaving and Gruden being hired...with a lot of his coaching staff in place.

This allows Jerry Jones to do the hiring of assistants and keep his persona in place - i.e. being the one and only to control the Cowboys. After all, he is owner, GM, and de facto head coach.

Personally, I cannot see it happening. Too many egos between Jerry and Chucky.

How do you know he didn't? He's trusting his staff to help him keep his $3m per year job. Time and results will tell.

The best staff in the country isn't going to get outrecruited by Vanderbilt or Ole Miss. I guess we'll know for sure in two weeks.
