Songs That Make You Drive Fast!!!!

Thats pretty much nothing, so you might as well just said you don't like them at all. Which is fine by me I already knew you had very little to no taste in music.

LOL! That's hilarious coming from someone that thinks Heart is awesome! When Dennis DeYoung joined, they went from a good gritty rock and roll band to pop-opera-slop band. Tommy Shaw even said that Dennis DeYoung joining was the worst thing to ever happen to Styx.

Sorry man. I'll keep it less real for you and try not to hurt your feewings in my next comments. I had no idea you were that soft.

This came on Classic Vinyl today while I was driving and I thought it was something that I might go faster to if out on the highway. Nobody will remember it in 50 years.

I hope tim can console you.

That sounds plausible (the Shaw/DeYoung thing), lol.

Could you listen to Heart on the radio in the early 90s?
They were on classic rock format. I don't think Barracuda and Magic Man will ever go out of rotation as long as that programming format exists. Looks like they had 4 US Top 40 hits in the early 90s, so they were probably on pop radio at that time as well.

In the early 90s, I was living in Macon, GA. We had country, rap, and oldies (like doo-wop and carolina shag oldies). If you drove north to about Forsyth, you could pick up GSU's Album 88 out of Atlanta, which was about the closest thing we had to my childhood favorite station, Vanderbilt's WRVU 91 Rock. Student radio was awesome. 80s indie stuff and college bands predominated but they had all sorts of shows that I loved. The Sunday afternoon Bluegrass show was a particular favorite.
