Sopranos

Could be. I've always thought there's no way this show could end without Tony either being dead or in prison. John pleading guilty could be the first nail in the coffin...
Yep. Same here.

Milo, obviously experienced in the field of mafia politics.
Nah... Just been watching the show ever since it began. Way back when.

He's a made man.
No. But I do have an in-law who is a made man in Illinois.

Anybody watching Around The Horn?

Tony Reali: "Tim Cowlishaw came with the vegetable medley instead of the meat, and now he's out like Johnny Cakes."

Well, he still has a business relationship with the landfill guy in PA.

Throughout the series, they've inserted situations that could recur. Some do and some don't. Just thinking that the Vipers might seek some revenge - especially since they don't know who Tony is.

Maybe. If the Vipers came back and took some revenge on Tony and Christopher, that would be a great throw-back reference to the ending of Carlito's Way.

I watched it a little for the first couple of seasons... my mom frowned on a 12 year old boy watching such a show for some reason. I still tried to sneak it in here and there. One of these days when I get into some money, I'll own every season.

That was pretty good. I like hearing what Tony and Mike have to say about it as well on PTI, but those slackers didn't even catch last night's show.

Ahhh it's just building up. There's gotta be a lot of stuff tied down or resolved in the last couple episodes.

I dunno. It just seems really, really slow to me

I thought the same thing about 2 seasons ago. It's not even my favorite HBO show. Some nights are just boring..

But all in all, I still like it.

Well, Six Feet Under was my favorite but since it's off, Deadwood has moved up. Carnivale is right there with the Sopranos.

I wish I would've got into Deadwood during the first season. It looks pretty good and I'm fairly interested in the history of the old West. I hate having to play catch up with a show.

Also, didn't Six Feet Under start up AFTER The Sopranos, and it's already gone... how many seasons did it last?

Just go rent the DVD one weekend and watch them all. It's still at the point where you can catch up without having to spend an huge amount of time on it.

SFU went for 6 or 7 seasons didn't it? I'm not really sure and don't want to look it up.

Deadwood took me awhile but I got hooked. No other show in the history of man has used the F-word and C*ck S*cker on a more frequent basis.

I liked SFU but after a while I couldn't handle the feeling of dread I had whenever something good happened to a character -- you knew it wouldn't last! It was like a continual human trainwreck.

I know it, you just get numb to it after a while. I think that Deadwood is really interesting though. It's a great look at how things used to be.....and it wasn't that long ago. That's the fascinating thing to me.

I know what you mean, but that's partly why I liked it so much. It was just a very real show (minus all the dead people talking). I'm kind of a doom and gloom kinda guy myself. :D

I love the F and CS references in Deadwood -- they fit right in when I'm golfing.

I especially like it when Calamity Jane or whoever she is slurs c*ck s*cker.

Al Swerengen is my hero (and one of my old avatars).

Remember when Al had the kidney stones and it just about killed him? After watching the methods they used to try and get those out, I was damn glad I wasn't alive back then.

A lot of people say that they would have liked to live in the old West. To that I say....Only if you were healthy.
