He doesn't and there is nothing wrong with this class. Offers are the better indicator and there are many prospects in this class with multiple offers from good programs. I am not sure why some of you can't seem to grasp that Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Texas, Louisiana have much better in state recruiting bases than the state of Tennessee therefore it is much easier to bring in great recruiting classes. The fact that UF is slightly "better" than UT is a more damning indication of where McElwain is as a coach than CBJ in terms of recruiting. If you can't recruit in the state of Florida then you can't recruit anywhere. Some of you act as though there are dozens of elite players growing up in the state of Tennessee who dream of playing at UT. That is just simply not the case as compared to UF, Bama, UGA, Auburn, or LSU. While UT does crack the top 5 occasionally in terms of team recruiting rankings, UT's road to the top 5 depends on a lot of factors like playing time, and recruits who want to leave the state. Unfortunately for UT, Clemson's resurgence has cut into a lot of UT's past recruiting roads. UT used to be able to just outspend everyone in terms of their recruiting budget but that is just not the case anymore. Everyone recruits nationally now, and this notion that just anyone can waltz into UT and haul in a top 10 class is non-sense.
