Yes, Nancy Pelosi childishly tearing up the transcript of Trump's speech was eventually going to have some sort of tit-for-tat response. So, any sort of juvenile conduct is fair game during the State of the Union Address from now on, I guess, with civility and mature behavior being a thing of the past.
However, Marjorie Taylor Greene should be advised that the way she reacted to Biden's taunts last night, was exactly what Biden's speech writers were likely aiming for. They probably even had her and Boebert in mind while writing those passages about Social Security and Medicare. She isn't politically savvy enough to realize when she is being baited with taunts by an opponent.
I will say that among the bloviating, 2 valid points were made by Biden :
1) Republicans never attempt to reduce spending when a Republican is President.
2) Republicans will want to take credit in front of their constituents for the groundbreaking of infrastructure projects that they voted against in spending bills. This has, in fact, already happened.
