It gives coffee a slightly sour taste to me unless I use some cream with it. I do love peanut butter and honey sammiches with coffee though.

Anyone tried this? My Walmart carries it and they sell a lot of it. I haven't tried it yet because its 19.99 for a 12oz bag. They have ground and whole bean. The ground seems to be the better seller.

Meh, I'm not a coffee connoisseur, I just like a good cup and I'm satisfied with what I have.

Sister got it for me on Christmas a few years back. I don’t remember much about it other than it did seem to have a higher caffeine content. Felt buzzed from one cup lol

Edit: I had the whole beans not the preground.

Double Edit: I looked them up cause I was interested to see what beans they use. As I thought they use Robusta in their blends. Robusta has roughly twice the amount of caffeine as arabica beans but robusta tastes awful on its own. So it’s typically used in blends. It can make for a nice espresso blend by adding more crema and slightly more creaminess to the espresso shot.

My mother-in-law paid $35 for a bag of coffee that was legit Kona she brought back from Hawaii so I feel like it was worthy of the expense.

20 for coffee with Robusta beans is too much, imo. Deathwish is kinda gimmicky in that it’s all about the caffeine content, not really the beans or flavor.

If you really want your mind blown on coffee prices, look up Gesha coffee. The only time I’ve had it, was some I roasted myself. I had no ideas what I was doing and could never get the roast right but it was still very good.
