Yes. If the Italian is a 10 the French is maybe a 6.5. Flavor wise too. I like trying something different but I figured out whatever different I try, it needs to include some Italian dark roast. Lol.

I think it's probably one of the only Starbucks medium/dark roasts I haven't tried, so I'm looking forward to it!

I use a rounded half cup measure to half pot (6 cups) of water.

100% coffee. no water. in fact we just chew on the grounds

Publix has dark chocolate covered espresso beans and they're awesome, but they jack me up like turbo cocaine. I can't handle them. I mean I guess 1 would be okay, but like 1 Stoli on the rocks...That ain't happening. Lol.

I have been cutoff at a coffee shop for eating too many chocolate covered espresso beans. Those things are like crack.

You know, I used to and I stopped when my grinder broke while I was grinding rice and I got used to not having to deal with it and I never went back.

I'm not saying its not worth it, just saying its not to me at this time.

Actually, I have now bought ground two times in a row because I haven't been able to get the whole beans I want.

I remember going to the White Store on the corner of Merchants and Clinton Hwy with my Aunt and Uncle. She'd hold the bag under the grinder. I thought that was the best smell in the world. JFG, iirc. That was in the mid 60s.

Most of the time, yes. But the bag of Lavazza I tried before was wayyyyyyy too finely ground. Almost like powder.

Back when grocery stores used to have the "help yourself" bulk coffee beans I would swipe a handful and eat it like candy. I loved the flavor of coffee even then......I couldn't have been older than 10.
