I used to laugh at people like you. But now I feel sad for you.

So in a very short summary here is what you think.
If someone appreciates the big upswing in the program in recruiting,wins (yes we've increased wins each year by 2)and quality of kids since the Kiff/Dooley debacle then we are a UTAD stooge.

So only unrealistic cry babies who fail to see any good in what's happened are "real" fans. And UTAD has us doing this to change minds?

I've been reading this site for over 10 years. It used to be a lot rougher and that's why I didn't post. Freak has cleaned it up a lot.

As a leader of change in many organizations and "the one" who has had to carry the truthful, albeit negative message to decision makers, I applaud your courage, intellect, critical thinking and writing skills.

Most alarm-bell ringers are not appreciated until the smell of smoke becomes toxic.

OP - ignore (as I'm sure you will) the naysayers. The flock of sheep grows daily as the other group ("contemplaters") seems to shrink, shrug and/or are silenced away.

Yes, I have long thought the exact same thing. Over time, thru an UTAD IT insider, we were able to assemble the exact names to match the user ID’s:

butchna – Butch Jones.

Since the truth of staged message board posting has been exposed,I feel I must confess...Coach Dooley's mom contacted a group of us fringe dwellers here on VolNation and offered to pay us to post more positive threads concerning DD...I did take payment without any intention of any positive posting...Though I did enjoy posting about the camp he had at Milligan College.My concern is, are the internet Nazis after me for repayment,I have already spent the money.My meds are expensive...:crazy:

Seriously you have no clue considering you included me on that list. I am in no way associated with the UTAD other than being a season ticket holder, UT graduate and long time Vol fan (since I was a young girl!).

This would be completely comical if you weren't serious. You do need a life or something.

Lol well they don't seem to be doing a good job of it. I, and many others, haven't been satisfied with the coaching or player execution so far this year. I see good things and bad things with this team but I'm realistic with my expectations. I couldn't care less what butchna or any of the other guys you listed think ( no offense intended guys, I just don't care), because I am an independent person who can think for myself. If someone wants to convince me of something, memes and emojis aren't going to do it. A logical argument, with evidence backing it up is what is required to change my opinion.

OP, let me ask you a question. Do you really believe that the UTAD would spend the time and resources required to try to influence a minority of vol fans? Most of the fans I know, haven't even heard of the forums; and you know what else, most that I know, are critical of the coaching and player execution to this point. We see the good and the bad and make our assessment off of that data.

I just don't see a logical reason for them to waste any resources or time in trying to socially engineer a minority of vol fans. I think it's more likely that many of these fans just have a hard time seeing anything but the positives. I don't dispute social engineering occurring in this country, I just don't believe it's happening here.

So by OPs logic, anyone that joined in 2013 and views the coaching staff in a positive light and defends them is a part of a 'social engineering' scam to keep negative viewpoints toward the coaching staff to a minimum. . .

I have my own theory. OP is in fact dale gribbel from King of the hill.
