I never thought I would read this on Volnation of all places, but hey this stuff is why I enjoy coming here.
The OP's point as crazy, as it might seem, does have some merit due to the Putin trolls that have made the news recently.
I'm surprised that no one has mentioned the "Putin Trolls" that comment on almost every anti-Russia article. The Putin trolls are real. Go read the comments section in any article about Russian agression and you'll see evidence of Putin trolls everywhere.
Now, taking the putin trolls into consideration, is it that much of a leap to consider that these same tactics used by the Russian government could be used by our own government or any other large entity like the UTAD? I don't know and I don't care to research, but it is something makes you go hmmm.
Furthermore, Edward Snowden did expose that the U.S. government has this capability so the OP's point isn't that big of a stretch as some of you making it out to be.
Anyway, yes the OP is making a huge leap equating the US gov't spy capabilities to the UTAD. If the UTAD has those capabilities you'd think we would've been better prepared for the last three opponents, but as we've seen the UTAD unfortunately doesn't have a master spy ring.
