I hope you're joking on the Hart part of this

Personally I don't care. I was saying that the people saying Hart and Cheek should be fired probably list that as their reason. The other reason is because they're "Bammers and Gators." I've only seen a few actually provide a legitimate argument for Cheek.

susan martin was involved "n a letter to Sousa, Provost Martin noted, “Competition for resources and conflict between competing interests within the university are normal. Your actions to circumvent the normal methods of conflict resolution are shockingly insubordinate.”"

Ah gotcha. Yea I think Hart has done a pretty good job with the financial situation in the AD and he seems to have hired a great football coach. I just think it's crazy that people are ready to fire him after a couple years. Let the man do his job, he had/has a lot to fix. All JMO

Now that is how you squash free speech folks..

If he was wrongly terminated he will get his day in court. If, on the other hand, he was guilty of "insubordination, and a misrepresentation of facts" there is no law that will protect him.

Free speech doesn't mean you can say anything at any time nor does employment, even from the standpoint of being a government employee, mean you can speak out whenever you feel is necessary.

At least he never put too many tuba players on the field or had a guy fumble a trumpet. Never lost a game in Neyland, imo....
