I disagree. It would suck for Auburn - but that's how it should've gone down with the current rules. It was clear there was time on the clock and that is definitely reviewable.
One thing I keep thinking is that Connor Shaw must be horrible for Spurrier to not have pulled Garcia by now. It's puzzling because the guy looked good in preaseason and in the scrimmages by all accounts. And didn't look that bad in the first game. Made some great throws and then kind of got rattled but what do you expect from a guy making his first start with not much experience, not to mention shaking the offseason rust off.
imo Spurrier should take the rest of the year and let Shaw learn and develop on his feet. There's absolutely no way he could be worse than Garcia.

He was good enough to start the first.game of the season, yet Spurrier refuses to give him a chance now. Baffling to me.

Wasn't he awful against ECU though? That may be part of it. Plus, he hasn't exactly been inspiring when on the field this year.
It feels like the fifth year in a row in which Spurrier will bench Garcia, look for a better option than Garcia, and, once again, realize he sadly has no better option than Garcia.
