I think SC is a slightly better team than us right now. They certainly have the better QB. With that being said, I think we beat them. Our guys are going to be extra motivated, we’re playing under the lights, dark mode will be making an appearance… the Neyland Effect along with our guys playing extra motivated will be enough to get the job done in a close one.

If I were Danny White, I would have been outside the broadcast booth with a fat contract for Mason.

...And would have fired Martinez and Banks after they left the locker room.

Didn’t get to watch the state vs cock game. The stats from Will Rogers are puzzling. He threw for 487 yards with only one touchdown. That almost seems impossible.

Rattler will no doubt get passing yards. He passed for 269 and 353 in losing efforts to UGA and NC. NC shut the SC rushing game completely down as did UGA.

Both NC and UGA mixed passing with a running game - which is what Tennessee will and should do. Furman and Mississippi State were very one sided offensively relying almost all on passing.

I like our chances in this game - we just need to avoid that one bad quarter that we have had in the last two games.

I agree with everything you just said. I believe we beat the gamecocks. My point was if we don't. I like coach Heupel. Say we lose. Maybe come in 4th in the sec east. Should we discuss changing coaching

It is crazy - and this is a crazy year - lots of the really good teams have struggled with teams they should beat easily. We are not the only ones with problems.

I also think some were spoiled with the offensive output from last year. You don't have to score 50+ points - you just need to score 1 more point than your opponent to win.

Some folks would have been in full meltdown during some of the games in the past where coaches were playing for field position in the defensive struggles to score that field goal to win a game.
