If Les is fired/let go like we all are guessing, then I saw throw the bank at him or Malzahn. No idea who we need as a DC, but 4 years into the DJ Eliot experience I'd be willing let my middle school coach have a shot if it got DJ away.

Stoops has a contract through 2019. Would UK pay him the 12 million he would be owed to fire him? I'm not so sure on that. We hated giving Dooley 5 million.

Don't know. That first half UK will destroy UF.

I never predict ut to beat uf any more. Too tired of the burn.

That said, I can see the luster of ut win this year tarnished by a 1 loss UF coming town.

It could end up closer to 6-7 as sometimes it can be negotiated down. Also if he takes another job that salary is deducted from what he would have made at UK. Of course if he says screw it, pay me and takes a break from coaching UK is in the hook for all of it.

Stoops has to beat South Carolina. If he doesn't the team is 1-4 with a tough stretch against other teams that will be desperate for bowl eligibility.
