Wow…just wow….
Boeing is doing what Boeing does again 😬
I really feel bad for the commercial crew astronauts who got picked for the Boeing side. They probably originally felt like they won the lottery now they are probably wondering if they will ever fly, and if they even want to on Starliner

Starliner astronauts be like

Boeing is a dying company. They were once on the forefront of technology, but they embraced the "make a buck now" mantra, and now they're circling the drain just like so many great companies like GE. If we don't get the Harvard business school types away from business, we're doomed.

Shareholders and short term returns. Gotta love it.

They used to me ran by engineers who rose through the ranks. Now they are ran by MBA bean counters who couldn’t engineer their way out of a paper bag

Same way with my former company. We were a Dow Jones Industrial 30 company for over 50 years and now they are barely in the S&P 500 after the hedge funds split the company and split the company and split the company again. Yay capitalism and China.

Most of Boeings CEOs since William Boeing have been engineers.

I would love to run that crane.

About to say the same thing about the crane operator. I would be a nervous tick. I struggled with a home security system at Sears warehouse with a forklift decades ago. Set the system from ground level onto the loading dock and did not advance it far enough that is was literally tilting towards the ground level. Never will forget that.

I will pass on this monstrosity manuever.

Can you imagine how much payload they could launch into space if they made a superheavy heavy? Like a falcon heavy except with two of those superheavy boosters mounted on either side of a core superheavy booster.

SN20 rollout underway. It will be at the pad shortly. Next step….the first fully stacked starship/booster combo. It is going to be EPIC. Somewhere this morning, Werner von Braun is smiling broadly

Where he's at, I'm not sure smiling is allowed.
