If you want to say CBJ won with Kelly's talent then so what? Kelly's recruiting was nothing stellar. He recruited about where you'd expect a mid range Big East school. So, im not sure there is any meat to that argument. Pearl won with Buzz's talent. Was CBJs recruiting noticeably different? No. Every coach will charm some and piss off others. There aren't many head coaches who aren't alpha males.
