Sports Card Collectors!

I've been buying cheap boxes off of eBay the past couple of months, pretty much about any junk era stuff I can get for $20 or so. I know there isn't anything really valuable in them, but it's something fun me and my daughter have gotten into.

Even before buying these I had probably 25 binders or so full or cards and a big box for all my stuff in hard cases. As I've gotten boxes in I've gone back through and organized most of it.

My son collects the new stuff, shiny, autographs...
And that’s fine, he’s 12.
I have been buying cheap $1 or less cards and cheap junk from my childhood to scratch the itch and saving to buy some vintage from time to time.
I have to be honest, I’m having a lot of fun with the quarter boxes!

There are a few little sets I’m working on, they are mostly worthless, but I’m having fun putting them together.
While you guys are digging through your cards, be on the lookout and hit me up if you find any of these...

That Aaron/Mathews Fence Busters is on my list to be on the lookout for when I go to my next shows.

Here is my CafegoView attachment 721532
Your Cafego is really nice!
That Fence Busters is such an ugly card in person, but it’s iconic and I really like the multiplayer cards and the ‘59 Topps in general, so it was a must get for me.

I have several of those Drakes cards…haven’t gotten my collection out in years, but I’m getting the fever looking at this thread…which I didn’t know it existed until a few days ago

Let me know when/if you come across those Drakes cards.
I’d be interested in the 1981 series 1’s.

I don’t worry too much about grade. Especial something like 60-70 yr old baseball card.
I like a good vintage card that was well loved once upon a time.

😍
I had one in my hand along with a nice Killebrew, for a REALLY good price, laid them back in the case to look at a few more cards and a guy snatched them both up as soon as I put them down!!
🤦‍♂️

I bought that a long time ago. Didn’t notice when I bought it, but someone had put a pin or tac through it…hard to tell by the pic. Still a nice card!
