Sports Talk..unbearable for you?

I hope I'm not alone when I say that just about every show on 99.1 is unbearable. Between the biased, smart a** people they have on that show, the daily ramblers, or the 5 minute commercial breaks every 5 minutes I don't know why they are still on the air. This is Knoxville, why do we have an amateur level talk show?

1180am everyday from 7am to 7pm

although the only show worth a damn on there is ainges from 7am-11 IMO

AM 1180 from 7 till sundown. There are two later shows that run until 730 or 8 but with AM power down rules, you will have to stream them. TN sports radio has an app for android and iPhone. It's so much better than 99.1

With the exception of that cogenital idiot rucker I like the entire 1180 lineup and just turn it off at 5 when they let the kids have their show bgh i think is what its called.


edit: I listened to the 3 idiots for 30 seconds at 6 am this morning before i turned the station to 1180 and listened to static until the ainge show started.

About wet myself on friday when a caller told Rucker "I had a basketball question for you but I really don't want to listen to you talk X's and O's" I thought Rucker was going to cry on air

The TSR 1180 app is amazing, especially if you live out of state. It's one of the few ways to get my morning football fix. I really don't care about hearing what people have to say about Chicago.

Made the switch to 1180 a few months ago. NEVER looking back. I do enjoy listning to Josh and Will.

If i got to pick the 1180 lineup it would be
7 to 9 jojo the idiot (rucker)
9 to 11 treece
11 to 2 basilio - say what you want the guy is hilarious and has been since he was at hess hall in the late eighties
2 to 6 Swain and Ainge

You can use the TSR radio app, iheart radio app or tunein radio app to listen to TSR.

I live outside Knoxville and when I'm not near the computer I stream it over my phone and play it through my aux jack in the car. I usually never lose the signal unless I'm in a remote area. Just like listening to the regular radio but through your phone.

I checked out 1180 after seeing so people on here mention it and it is leaps and bounds better than the sports animal. Ainge is very good on the radio and I hope he is able to do it as long as he wants to. He's articulate and brings great insight that you won't hear anywhere else locally.

I like TSR and I have the app on my phone. The only show I don't listen to is Basillio because I just don't like that guy. But I absolutely can't stand the Sports Animal Linup!

I flip between the two now but I always listen to Sports 180.

Josh and Will remind me of some of my friends in college plus they didn't have their heads up Dooley's rear (looking at you Doc).

Basillio can be over the top. You take him with a grain of salt. I like Ainge, Treece and Swain & Rucker the best. I put up with Basillio. Bros going hard needs work. Sounds like a couple of frat kids trying to talk about sports. Don't really care for that segment.
