UT's RBs, like the QB position---no production. Clawson and Drayton---hit the road.

"I haven't talked to coach (Stan) Drayton in about a week and a half," he said. "I'm focusing on the other schools right now, I guess you could say."

Loos like Drayton screwed the pooch on Giles. He appears to be all cock and will announce it tomorrow. Giles screwed himself here. He should have kept recruiting these kids to TN. Might have saved his job.

You do know that Drayton will be the last person to talk to Giles before his announcement tomorrow and that him, Kiffin, and Hamilton met with Giles over the weekend, right? You must not be keeping up with the rest of us.

Drayton was in Tampa on Friday and will be back with there tonight.

I honestly hope Giles takes his prima donna circus act elsewhere....5 bucks says this kid will be a no name by 2010, either by grades or pure stupidity.

Does appear he likes to play games. Wish him luck, but if he is this wishy-washy and wants the limelight, sorry, but we don't need another Kelly Washington-type around The Hill, IMO.

Let's not start hating on 17 year olds because they go to the "wrong" college".

What? You mean we shouldn't berate children for making decisions that don't fall in line with our world-view?

not hating on anyone, but, I just don't see what all the fuss about him is. I wish him the best of luck wherever he goes but I have seen too many players go down the road I think Giles is going. I hope I am wrong, wherever he goes I hope he does well for hisself and his family. But, I think he has some serious growing up to do.

I think this is a bigger deal because he was in the bag before the coaching change. It will not make or break this class.

I don't think he has the same level of interest as before, and is using the lack of contact with the assistant coach to justify leaning toward another school. I was surprised UT was going to land 2 top RB's in this class anyway after the poor season.

UT already signed the higher rated prospect. He might have realized he had an easier shot at playing time going somewhere else.

Drayton was only here 1 season, and probably will get canned. Where if he had stayed at Florida he could be looking at a 2nd ring. He's probably a little miffed. Not justifying his decision, just looking at it from his perspective.
