'22 Stanford transfer DT Jaxson Moi (Tennessee)

Not a lot to garner from the usual sources on Moi. Seems the consensus is that he's a former 3 star and "solid". Had a bit of a dip in production his second year, but the Stanford folks were a bit surprised he chose to leave. They were expecting him to take another step forward and see his contributions grow as well. As a point of reference, here are his career stats at Stanford...

He’s a depth piece this season (and should be a good one), then will have a chance to start beside Hobbs in 25.

Can’t wait to see what he will do this coming year. I think he is the best edge/DE we have had in a long time.
For sure… best non QB in the draft arguably. We will see how this year shakes out but that is gonna be one hungry dude.

Definitely could in 2025 tho. Probably will be him and Hobbs barring a transfer addition
Looking ahead…which might be silly considering how easy and lucrative it is to transfer now…this is what we’d have at DT in 25 if we add Moi…

Hobbs, Moi, Wallace, Robinson, Duncan, Heard

There’s also West, Weathersby, Jenkins, Lindstrom and Gentle who IMO will be SDEs that could slide inside on a regular basis…

Given the likelihood of transfers and the general lack of an obvious impact player outside of Hobbs I would say we’ll be an attractive option for high end DTs in the 25 class…either in the HS ranks or the transfer portal

Jenkins is a DT. He’s huge. And apparently he’s coming along nicely. I’m betting the top 4 at DT will be Hobbs, Moi, Wallace, and Jenkins. Then the remaining depth with be determined by who develops best among the rest. Need at least 5 guys rotating among those two spots (not counting SDEs who can slide inside in rabbit packages).
