'22 Stanford transfer DT Jaxson Moi (Tennessee)

Harrison is listed at 6'1" and 190lbs. That's plenty big enough for safety.
It is. Didn’t look that big to me when he played, but I hope that listed weight is correct and he can play Safety. We’re thinner there than CB with the new additions.

Tennessee will host Stanford transfer Jaxson Moi this weekend. The defensive lineman has three years to play two and would be a nice addition on the defensive interior. He had just gotten to Washington last week for his visit when he found out they had a change in coaches. We believe Tennessee has a real shot here with the Huskies still being in it because he has a good relationship with the Arizona staff who just is getting to Washington.

Yep, didn’t play his first year so must be a bust, it’s the volnation way. James Pearce Jr is another good example, didn’t really play his first year, total bu…..
Speaking of Pearce, I read an article yesterday that quoted an AFC scout that said Pearce would be the first defensive player off the board if he were eligible for the NFL Draft, this year. 😳

That's a wild statement about someone that just finished their true freshman season. Especially when the coaches were likely preserving his redshirt status.
Agree, to a certain extent. I don't think not playing him was to preserve anything. They have 4 games to play and still use the RS.

I think it just means he's a freshman and wasnt ready. Let's see how he does in year two. Plenty of talent/potential with him.

Can’t wait to see what he will do this coming year. I think he is the best edge/DE we have had in a long time.

It's amazing how many really highly recruited freshmen are sure-fire, year 1 impact players when they step on campus, and then they're a bust that "hasn't liven up to his billing" after their freshman year.
Get back to us when you can substantiate that he has not lived up to the staff's interpretation of his billing. Not too worried about any couch jockey's disillusionment, including mine.....

Pretty sure he was actually throwing shade at the other poster who made the ridiculous comment about Leacock.

fooled me, sure looked like he was doubling down. Of course I could have been influenced by his body of work.

Could you quote him word for word and show me how to get to that interpretation?

The part where he put “hasn’t lived up to his billing “ in parentheses is a pretty good place to start.

Wow. You seriously needed that to be in blue font? I was pointing out how ridiculous it is for people that label players a bust after their freshman year. Good Lord!

Sometimes it takes time for it to mentally click for kids. They have the athleticism but it takes a bit to put it together. People were ready to run Hyatt off at some points as well.
