Stanford vs. USC

Somewhere SGM feels conflicted.

Press his hatred for our football team, or defend his coach and football team.

....maybe he'll just keep driving till he hits the pacific.

...or a concrete vidock.

I do find it funny when people puff their chests about sec this year . We have 2 good teams the rest are mediocre

Mediocre by SEC standards. If you put Arkansas, a healthy TN offense, and a healthy USCe offense they would light those defenses up each and every week. Stanford and Oregon wouldn't break 20 vs. LSU or Alabama.

usc got screwed they had 1 sec. loved lane whining and crying

Not really the guy landed in bounds, there is no way Kiffin simultaneously called a TO in the 2/10 of a second his knee went down in bounds and when the clock hit 0.

he landed in bounds and the clock ran out. They only got screwed by the guy running instead of falling to the ground and using the timeout then

really, I guess he forgot they still had all 3 timeouts

What I'm confused about is why the heck would Kiffin call a slow developing WR screen that to be successful would require a player to run. Keep that in mind and realize there were 7-9 seconds left. Baffling.

Because it was such a dumb call, Stanford would never expect it.

it would have worked if there was one more second on the clock or if the line judge would have gave kiffin that timeout at the end. stanford was defending the deep ball and not expecting the short pass...i would have even thought about a draw play...they only needed about 5 yards to have a shot at it.
