It was horrific to see. I winced. My partner swore her yells sounded more like anger than pain, and it seems like he was right! I will not tell him that or he'll gloat.
So we should go off of rumors and not what the player actually said herself at the time of her signing? That makes a lot of sense.............Do you really expect her to say in an interview, I felt a lot of pressure to pick this school so that’s why I’m here? I’d much rather be at Tennessee. Stop it.
“I didn’t choose South Carolina for the hype, none of that,” Cooper said. “I chose South Carolina to do better, to get better, some place that I know that I can take the next level to, which is all schools — but I feel like South Carolina is the school for me.”From what I remember she ALWAYS wanted to be at Tennessee but there was a lot of pressure to pick SC because she is from the state. It was almost like she didn’t even have a choice. SC was picked for her.
You can believe what you want but through the people I talked to in the last two days who know her and her family, they said they never thought she had a favorite until the day before she committed. They also said they never heard her say Tennessee was her dream school, nor would her mother pressure her to attend South Carolina. I personally wouldn't care if she did say that, but you made such an issue out of it, I wanted to know if it was true. I trust my resources over what you believe....you have a good day though. She is at Tennessee now and seems happy....so just be happy about that. Geez....Do you really expect her to say in an interview, I felt a lot of pressure to pick this school so that’s why I’m here? I never said it was her mother. Not one time. From my sources, who I believe wholeheartedly said this years ago, this isn’t a new thing. Also, you’re on a Tennessee board. If you don’t want to hear Vol chatter, go to the Cocks board. You can believe what you want but through the people I talked to in the last two days who know her and her family, they said they never thought she had a favorite until the day before she committed. I'm curious when and how the 'refusal' gets decided. Team vote? What if someone wants to play hard from the start. Majority rules? Do the coaches know about these secret sessions where degree of effort is determined? Strange not a single player has ever called these predetermined tank jobs out. This team is so cooked. Another refusal to start the game with energy. Regardless if we win, no progress was made since Sunday, that’s for sure.
