I can't get my hopes up yet for her signing with us...We have missed out on so many post recently that it has become the norm to be assumed second choice, instead of first choice.

We will see.

I won't get my hopes up either, usually the parent wins. Jatarie White's dad wanted her at South Carolina and she landed there. Kalani Brown's mother wanted her at Baylor and she landed there. Kaela Davis mom wanted her anywhere, but Tennessee. The parents are major influences in these recruits final decision.

I wonder did Muvunga see her in attendance? I would guess that Warlick could have no interaction with Muvunga at all per NCAA rules.

I am sure she knew. While Holly cannot talk to her directly, she can talk to the USA coaching staff such as Lisa Bluder, who can let her know that Holly is in the stands.

I don't know whether to read anything into the sartorial decisions or if it is just happenstance but Holly was wearing a white warm-up with the Tennessee logo. Kyra and Jolette were wearing orange warm-ups; normally quite visible in a crowd. However, the hundreds of Pan Am volunteers were all wearing an orange jacket so the orange of Tennessee didn't stand out quite so much. The white top that Holly wore looked good and was easy to see.

It will be uphill for us if the parents are pushing osu--though I'm sure both they and their daughter know she's going to win more games at UT. We could have made that argument a lot more convincingly 10 years ago, however.

Any new news on whether she has been back on the campus since the Pan An games? Would love to have her in Knoxville! Is it truly only down to Ohio State and Us or has someone else joined the mixed.

According to the forum and Knoxnews, she's considering Tennessee Ohio State and Kentucky, or she might just stay at UNC who knows

Maybe?????? I was under the impression that she would announce he choice after the Pan Ams, but I guess not, Did Hatchell fall on the ground,start crying and begged her to stay lol

It depends on the parents, for some parents, that let this be their kid's decision because they have to go be there, and be able to live with it, so not all parents are like these parents, and most parents know its the first step in becoming an adult,making your own decisions.

Ohio State is quickly becoming a good team. Mavunga really helps them in two years and they will still have most of the present roster. I like Mavunga and hope she has a good career there, but I also hope Ohio State loses a lot of games really hope they never become a basketball power in the women's game.
