Just took a mandatory test for my college program and I'm ranked in the 93rd percentile in the country. The means only 6 percent more people in the country made a better grade then me. I figured I'd go ahead and explain it for you since you're uneducated.

I have plenty of friends with jobs not related to their degree, but the fact remains, they wouldn't have the job without a degree of some type. I know first hand you can live a nice, comfortable life without a college degree, it's just much easier if you have one. Certainly not a worthless pursuit.

Yea I have a friend with a psychology degree & is a supervisor in a manufacturing facility. What good is his degree? There's supervisors in the same place with a high school diploma. Any degree just to get your foot in the door kind of defeats the purpose IMO.

How long did your friend with the degree work on the floor at the bottom tier vs those with just hs diplomas? When your kids graduate hs, will you encourage them to get a entry-level manufacturing job or continue their education?

To be honest they all started as operators. Senior guy was promoted to supervisor. The other finished his degree a few years later & was then promoted a short time later. Of course I would like my kids to go to college but I will tell them the truth. I will steer them to get a degree that they can be successful in. I'll tell them to weigh what they want to do versus what will make the most money.

I saw that too. no surprise here either. 5 strikes already looked pretty bad for South Carolina and SEC (unfortunately), but for some reason, I can feel the 6th is looming somewhere...

No doubt he has made some unintelligent decisions, but beyond vandalizing the car, he has really done nothing that is near as awful as people make it out to be.

Oh, let us not forget that. :)

I do not know the details, but Eric Hyman (AD) said that there are certain guidelines SG must meet to remain a member of the football team. Perhaps they will be released today.
