Clemson is so overrated I think. They get some great talent but never win a conference title or make it to a BCS game. I'm not sure about Tommy Bowden...sorry i just got way off topic.

Please don't say: neither does Tennessee.

not denying they have pissed away golden chances the past few years, but i dunno about "overrated" .. they are weeding out guys and are reloading them with a different caliber player that in the past they haven't been able to get.

I don't disagree but what are they doing with all this talent? It's not exactly translating into conference titles is it?

This is prolly the first year that they won't have any excuses to make IMO. we obliterated them in recruting form 05-07 and i think they have done just as well as we have...almost.

To be honest with ya, iv heard from some ppl that they have some coaches on the staff that made a career out of not identifying talent. They have wasted schollys on guys that have no business being there that end up leaving after a few years. my guess that the coach in question may be Brad Scott, soley basing that opinion off of what he thought was talent at SC.

You make a good point. They have always just seemed to be underachievers to me. On a side note, I normally pull for the SEC, but I hope Clemson beats the @$^# :boxing2:eek:ut of Bammer in the first game. They'll have trouble stopping Davis and Spiller.

according to the article in the local paper, holloman can do summer workouts, but he still has to qualify, and i'm kinda hoping he doesn't, but eaither way i'm wearing my tennessee hat to the south pointe game this year.:hi:

Top to bottom Clemson is a WAYYY better team than BAMA. but they do have weaknesses on the OL and LB area. If bama can't exploit them it will get ugly.
BTW D'quan Bowers will make his presents known in the Bama backfield all day...

D'Quan Bowers is a stud...he'll be in JP Wilson's grill all day! I'm going since my fiance is a Bammer. Please don't feel sorry for me. I may have to wear some Clemson gear though.

Thats awesome, im gonna try to make a clemson game this year. Might even make it on the sidelines if im lucky.
