4) A woman accused McNair in his restaurant of giving her a roofie a few days ago. The woman's ex-boyfriend threatened to kill McNair. Police were aware of the threat.

i believe the news conference was to give the results of the autopsy. they ruled that McNair's death was a homicide. they refrained from ruling on the death of Sahel Kazemi. i didn't get a chance to watch it. Tenn. police rule McNair's death a homicide - Boston.com

I think it's much more likely that she liked the money/lifestyle and did believe McNair was going to get a divorce and be with her, and he was kicking her to the curb.
