Waste in defense isn’t being ignored by this administration. Actually forcing our “friends” to contribute their fair share to defense should help defense companies weather a smaller US military.

Why do we have 10x as many generals as there were during WW2. Fixing that will piss off a lot of the MIC. They might write a strongly worded response for WaPo and the NYT to publish and the Dems to wave at their misguided base. At least toward those not only voting D based on their single issue abortion stance. Their race card is losing its effectiveness. Hating Trump is almost all they’ve got left.

How are you defining energy independence? Until we can refine to meet demand, we will never have energy independence.

Long term contracts don’t unwind in an instant.

Those 3 are bouncing after being under pressure for a year or more. If you want to only look back 30 days the. Include PLTR.

RTX, IMO, is heavily correlated to the ebbs and flows unrest in the ME and the former Soviet block. Flying those million dollar missiles adds up quickly.

I suspect that's part of what Trump is poking Canada about. They are way below their NATO defense numbers and rely on the US to protect them. So, our defensive spending is supplementing their economy (just as we do for Europe). Id Canada and Europe start pulling their weight in defense spending, we can much more easily lower our defense budget, and thus tax burden on Americans.

That was lip service for the hippies. We're the world's largest oil producer, we now double the output of the Saudis. The only thing holding us back from producing even more is the price is too low and we have a pretty big shortage of oil workers.
