If were lucky enough to get CCS the worst thing we could do as a fan base is bash the guy before he even has a chance to coach. We need someone who knows X's and O's,is a good recuiter,and has morals. Who meets that criteria better than Strong and is available? I'm not saying he will be announced but give the next coach a fighting chance.

Why should TN settle for medoricity ?

Name the SEC coaches you would rank Strong ahead of.

eerily similar to something...just can't put a finger on it though...

Hey I am willing to give him a shot, but I really think the OC and staff need to stay and Strong can or should really fix our D.

If strong is hired then he'll get my support. If he screws up like CDD did then it's going to be a rough ride as a vol. I hope Hart doesn't screw us on this.

Just my opinion on where he'll be in the pecking order to start.

If the front-runner was Fedora we would see a bunch of Fedora bashing. Same if it were Fisher, Golden, Gundy. Heck even it were Stoops we would see some crybabies saying UT is doomed.

Not sure about he Xs and Os as he was in the big east, but I have yet to see proof he is a good recruiter other than at UF when CUM was winning Championships...

And he turns this program around, for the ones who were against the hire. Don't bother jumping on board when Tennessee is relevant again.

And just like the last one we dont have a say in who is hired. It makes us looks like crying little b*tches when crying about a head coach starts and before he's even hired.
