No offense, but didnt OSU's student body, after beating Michigan and securing its BCS Championship berth in 2002, then riot in celebration, flipping over cars and setting them on fire?

I'm pretty sure cars have been burnt in celebration on more than one occasion.

OSU rushing the field/court doesn't make sense in EITHER sport. OSU won the NC in 2002 and just went to 2 consecutive BCS Championships just 2-3 years ago. And the basketball team went to the championship game just 3 years ago. How is winning the conference basis to rush the court/field?

yeah but OSU's got the most media attention i've seen from one in a while (it had about 6,000 people and burned, well multiple cars)....not to mention it's own CNN article, seen it made fun of on 2 shows, and in a research article on the subject mentioning that OSU has experienced 20 riots (or similar disturbances) since 1996

The whole "act you've been there before" is a stupid argument. Fact is the 17-21 year old students and athletes more than likely haven't been there before. Some people’s fandom is born in times like those.
