Stormy Daniels sues Trump

Porn star Stormy Daniels' media-loving lawyer was reprimanded Wednesday by a federal judge who said his "publicity tour" must end if he wants a formal role in the case regarding the investigation of Michael Cohen.

Manhattan Federal Court Judge Kimba Wood said that Michael Avenatti's frequent comments in the press regarding President Trump's personal attorney were improper.

If Avenatti intervenes in the case over the April 9 FBI raid on Cohen's law office and residences, Wood said, he'd have to change his tune.

"You cannot declare your opinion as to Mr. Cohen's guilt, which you did. You would not be able to give publicity to documents," Wood said.

"You're entitled to publicity. I can't stop you - unless you're participating in a matter before me."

I have to ask, why would he be apart of any criminal case in the first place?

Always seemed pretty tenuous to me as well. The theory is that communications with or about his client (Stormy) may have been swept up in the raid on Cohen, giving him an interest in the case.

Porn star Stormy Daniels' attorney Michael Avenatti has WITHDRAWN from his effort to be granted the ability to appear in federal court in New York for her case, after the judge overseeing the case rapped him for his non-stop 'publicity tour.'

His decision came hours after a contentious court hearing, where Judge Kimba Wood suggested he wouldn't be able to keep up his wall-to-wall TV appearances should a criminal case against Donald Trump lawyer Michael Cohen lead to charges or trial.

Oh nos, he shredded documents! Only the guilty does that?

As Trey Gowdy observed not too long ago, Trump keeps acting guilty. The things he does, his comments. It sure does look like Trump and his entire cadre are always hiding things, dodging facts, trying to weasel out of things.

Mueller's report is going to be fascinating reading.

My guess is you have a basket with shredded documents in your office or a shredder service.

Except being a shill, what are you guilty of?

I think the reason for the no-knock search warrant for Cohen was the fear that he was destroying evidence (or about to destroy evidence). Maybe it was innocent shredding, but my money is on there being something interesting in those reconstructed documents.

Nothing interesting has been produced so far, what makes you think anything will be different this time?

Y'all are like the boy who cried wolf. Some crackpot writes an article and you run with it like it's the smoking gun only to find out it's nothing AGAIN.

He must be writing a heck of a report then. I think Stephen King could write a 1,000 page novel faster.

Michael Avenatti, the attorney for adult film star Stormy Daniels, reportedly sought help from liberal donors in his fight against President Trump and attorney Michael Cohen -- but was unable to secure the additional funding.

Avenatti on Friday disputed the account, which was published in The New York Times, and claimed that -- to the contrary -- he has turned down Republican offers of financial help.

The Times reported that Avenatti, though, contacted an official in the network of liberal groups led by Media Matters founder David Brock. The Times also reported that someone associated with Avenatti’s law firm contacted two people connected to major Democratic donors.

Brock’s groups include Media Matters, ShareBlue, American Bridge Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington, and others. Last year, Brock’s network aimed to raise $40 million to fight Trump.

According to the Times, the conversations did not lead to any financial help for the legal battle. Brock’s groups reportedly decided not to donate to Avenatti and Daniels, saying the legal fight was being played out in the media.

They've discovered why Mueller's report is taking so long. Apparently it's being ghost written by George R. R. Martin.

lol....What's the latest on book 6? I'm to the point now where I think I'll just skip it and go with the HBO conclusion. I think he is now intentionally waiting for the end of the series.
