Stranger Things

Finished it. I enjoyed it, i found it better than season 2 but not season 1. Still a really solid show and cant wait for st4!

Fell
Asleep during the third one, first two are pretty fun. Nothing groundbreaking.

Too much teenage love.

Maybe trying a little too hard to play up the 80s stuff.
Malls and Russians.

Still hate that they killed off Bob.

I enjoyed it. I found Mike and Eleven annoying at times. IMO they needed more Dustin, his code names were great. Lucas had a good season, and his sister is funny.

A few episodes in and definitely better than Season 2 (which I thought was seriously lacking). It seems like they have a better idea of what direction they want to take the show in.

Finished S3 last night; it was good and probably better than S3 but not S1. As much as I like it I do hope they follow through with their plan to only go 4 seasons. I feel like anything past that is just milking it, assuming S4 isn't so awesome they can't stop.

Also, I like the cast but man the kid that plays Lucas needs some acting lessons. He sticks out badly IMO.

Agree about the Lucas character. Actually, the acting is pretty bad overall.
Appears they are going for a lot more comedy this season.
I am on e6 and think that you REALLY have to suspend any thought of reality.
Are there any male characters that do not come off as bumbling fools?

Not allowed. It’s 2019. Males are idiots

What part of Hopper comes across as a "bumbling fool"?

I thought the first 3 or 4 episodes were pretty weak. In fact at one point I had to force myself to keep going. I'm glad I did though. The second half of the season paid off in a big way. Much darker and more suspenseful. I enjoyed it overall. I do agree they're kind of over the top with the cheesiness of the 80's, and much of the humor just falls flat. I get that it's sorta what they're going for, but it honestly isn't needed IMO.

I enjoyed the season. I’ll be honest, I think the kid who plays Mike is a much worse actor than the kid who plays Lucas. And I didn’t need Erica’s character at all, but whatever.

Robin was a great addition. I love El and and how Millie Bobbie Brown portrays her. I really liked Will’s evolution. Hopper and Joyce are great. The storyline was solid (the Russian thing is whatever, but hey it’s the 80’s). A lot of questions for season 4. And I hope they don’t forget Kali and El in season 4.

Season 3 was pretty good. The kids come across as kids to me don't the bad acting thing at all. That's how kids around that age act.
