No, but I wasn't too impressed with the Rose Bowl. How does it compare?
The football and basketball facilities of both USC and UCLA are all terrible. There just happens to be a tremendous amount of history associated with the Coliseum, Rose Bowl and Pauley Pavillion.

1. There was somewhat of a racial element with Tubby, probably on par with the Florida fans and Chris Leak.

I always figured the Floridian discontent with Leak wasn't that he was black, per se, but that just he didn't fit into the stereotype. Black QB = running QB, after all, but since Leak is a standard dropback passer, the Lizards obsessed about how immobile he was and what he couldn't do. If he'd been a Vick/Young type QB, they would've embraced him from the start.

(Perhaps racial equality will have been achieved if they end up thinking Tebow sucks because he can't throw.)

The brand new Galen Center at USC is as good an arena as there is in college basketball.

That must be why they came out of nowhere in this NCAA tourny. I didn't see it coming half way through the season.

That is, if Tebow can't throw.

Yes. I should have qualified that as a little wishful thinking on my part. Unfortunately, I don't think there's any reason to think that Tebow won't throw well enough to run Meyer's offense.
