This was about sanders not striplinShe don’t need to play, she needs to play in smaller conference not sec. There’s only 6 maybe 7 that needs to be on the team. The rest need to transfer out and bring in better talent or Kellie want make it. Sorry to rant I love the lady vols and want Kellie to do great things here
I honestly thought the score could be worse. Hate to lose but the kids held their heads up and fought. Striplin will be fine. Hasn’t had a lot of minutes, feel like she is tight when she gets in.We have no idea what Striplin is or will be, at this point we do not have a good sample size. We do know that Saunders and Renni, being juniors, are perhaps a lost cause, barring a miracle. Green is gone and it is doubtful if Horston will be back this year. The ladies did play very hard today, with what they had to play with. Especially considering that USC had superior talent on the floor. At one time USC had three bigs on the floor at the same time. Throw into the mix that we had one day to practice and come up with a game plan which excluded Horston. We should have gotten blown off the court and USC should have scored in the low to mid 80s, but they didn’t. Give the ladies some credit. If they had been this aggressive with Horston healthy, they would have beaten Alburn, BAMA and Florida.
Well. along with her, T darby, Saunders, and Rennie need to transfer out only because none of those honestly have Div 1 talent. Saunders and Rennie have been there 3 years already...look at their stats..I still believe S.Puckett has a chance to be a real steal in last years recruiting class because she has shown she has what it takes to compete at div 1 ...she just needs more time and reps alonfg with B.Miles and K.Wynn...next year will not be a "winning" year on the HILL if Harper doesn't make some serious changes on that team and go to the transfer portal to do just that...
