The student can't just take down stuff the school puts up. Not sure why the school put it up but the student is wrong to take matters into his own hands.

Agreed with volinbham on all counts.

What was the flag up for, anyways? I don't see why public places in America should fly flags of other countries.

A public school, funded by American tax dollars, should never fly any flag other than the Stars and Stripes. Give this young man a pat on the back.

It doesn't make sense to have another flag at a public school inside our boarders.

I always have a good comeback for that. Just tell them if they want it back, try to take it again.

I usually bring up that it was Native American land before that, and then Spanish, before it was Mexico.

Sad thing is, our government has allowed them to take it back in a way.

Didn't have to use force, we left the back door open.
