My 14yo daughter is quite the intellectual like her brother, and recently began reading about the JFK assassination, MLK, etc...when discussing these things I told her " this garbage was when most Americans realized they could not trust our government. " She said " So like Covid...but for a different generation." I simply smiled in response. We are not raising kids, rather adults that think critically regardless of the source of info. It will serve them well in the "information age" especially with the new AI that can replicate a persons voice and even produce videos of them from a photograph...saying things which the person has never uttered.

"Believe nothing you hear, and maybe half of what you see." Has never been more apt than now.
The Butcher of Bakersfield type stuff...

My husband had the booster, got breakthrough Covid.. one day he just started feeling weird then the world started spinning.. I took him to the ER and he started feeling better so they gave him Meclizine and sent him home (healthy guy in his 40s).. two days later he was on a business trip and I called an ambulance to his hotel because his speech was slurred..they admitted at hospital and said he had cerebellar strokes and could not figure out why.. sent him home two days later… he went to my daughter’s room and I caught him as he suddenly fell to the floor… called ambulance.. admitted at this hospital he had additional parietal and occipital strokes… my gut tells me that he should not gave gotten that booster… best the neurologists could figure it was blood clots from vaccine, breakthrough Covid or both.. for some people getting the breakthrough variety is actually worst case scenario

That sounds like some scary stuff!! Hopefully you guys won't have to go through that again

Do you take care of a lot of young people?

Lol

No, from CDC's own data. Since 9/3/22, here are the average weekly death rates by 100K for those unvaccinated and vaccinated under the age of 30.

Vax - .009043
Unvax - .0088725

Literally, no difference. Once you get above 30, that's where you see differences in Death rates. That's less than 1 Death per week per 10 million people under 30 for the vax and unvax population.

One of my job duties is to work with large captive insurance company and with actuaries of every large global insurance and reinsurance company to determine risks. Spouse does consulting for one of largest data companies, ACA reporting, and COVID incentive tracking companies in the world.

So, go sit down now....

Nobody on Earth has a smarter mouth backed by less empirical evidence than a BranchCovidian. They make their hero Biden look like a Rhodes Scholar in comparison. It is truly a sight to behold. Better to keep ones mouth shut and be thought a fool...

I am 45 and my wife 40. We never got the jab, nor our kids. We have all endured a covid bout. Her father however, with no medical issues prior...was kidnapped for 21 days while doctors and security kept us from seeing him or transferring him...wife got in on day 21 and he died on day 23 from preventable secondary infections and sepsis. He was 60 and a carpenter who still climbed ladders and built things daily. Strong as an ox. Neglect is what killed him...perhaps due to annoyance with my wife coming to the hospital a couple times a day, all 21 days to get reports from his doctors and begging to see him. She was nearly arrested towards the end...Jimmy was a great man. By anyones standards

Such a sad story!! Hearing stories like that will certainly make you think twice about ever going to the hospitals again

Currently. The unvaccinated group who have had Covid is having the larger number of side effects in comparison to the vaccinated group (regardless of having had Covid or not).

No they aren’t. Your that’s what the numbers say statement is misleading. Here is a question for you. Do you personally know any infectious disease specialists or cardiologists who have dealt with COVID since it started? Do you know about how the reporting of side effects from COVId and the vaccine are reported? Do you know that hospitals have been getting massive amounts of money for reporting positive COVID tests?

You act like these numbers are 100% factual. They aren’t. The VARES had seen massive upticks since the shot. You can ignore it all you want. But even other countries are catching on.

@Orangeslice13 is making an argument built on the unvaccinated having statistically disproportionate complications. But with regards to the raw numbers, it can't be disputed that the vaccinated have a higher numerical/raw number.

He's technically telling the truth in a clever way. No different than we saw early on about the unvaccinated being 20X more likely to die than the vaccinated (I'm throwing out 20X as an example of how they twisted the stats). Well, .2% is 20X higher than .01%... that is undeniable. But it exaggerates the real risk in an effort to scare the sh^t out of people to get jabbed.

Did you miss the part about 2nd and 3rd opinions.

My pcp found odd stuff in my normal blood work and referred me to a chattanooga guy who gave the false diagnosis. So went to Vanderbilt and got a 2nd opinion that said it wasn’t cancer but wasn’t sure the issue. Next stop Mayo Clinic who also said no cancer but understands what’s happening.

You seem to think I’m a moron.
I see Drs and then do what I think is right. As it’s my life on the line.
What? Abnormal bloodwork.. cancer diagnosis.. then oops no it’s not? I’m taking you have an arrhythmia But what showed abnormal and did they do further more specific testing?

You need to go to Chattanooga and listen/witness these doctors associated with Memorial Hospital.

I see a cardiologist at CHI. Nobody else I see is associated with memorial. My respect for you has taken a huge hit. I used to think you were above average at reading comprehension but you have clearly had me fooled.
I’m actually shocked by this.
I am only going by what little I saw about you praising Memorial/CHI because I am dealing with this nonsense offline from VN. These clowns/quacks are a a danger to humanity. But if you only have one of these quacks, then excuse me for painting with a broad brush. You may have one of the good ones.

The net result is I get to do bloodwork every 3 months for the rest of my life.
Meh, that is to expected nowadays... at least as far as I'm concerned. You sound like an old geezer/Boomer or a younger Gen-Xer. Suck it up buttercup. You're an old man.

And I’m text buddies with one of the best infectious disease specialists in the country.
Oh, I'm sure these are (allegedly) the best of their kind.

real talk.
I’m 53 and in great shape.
Let’s meet and find out how good of condition you’re in.
We will go 5 miles. Looser buys lunch.

But to make it interesting @Sgt_Nick_Fury is coming too. Not for the running part. Just for the food. I suspect he can eat a lot.

I used to respect Ras's opinion, but not so much anymore.
