I don’t feel like I’ve said this much over the years about dabo but...that was an ultimate chicken $hit move for him to punt the ball with about 4 minutes left in the half near mid field (on 4th and 3). They gave up possession for 30 yards of field position down 14 points. Just total chicken $hit. If they’d have converted not only would they have had a chance to come away with points but they’d have also likely prevented that final drive by Ohio state.
You could tell Trevor Lawrence agreed. He eagerly hustled up to the line only to rip off his chin strap while looking pissed when the punt unit came out. Huge huge gaffe by dabo imho

Call it dirty if you want, but If I was Venables I would send a couple blitzes and hit Fields again early. As for Sermon they just better wrap him up because he will will grind this game out regardless if they dont get him down. But my comment for Fields is to get him to make a poor throw or 2 that can get you back in it. If he sits back there they will eat the clock and score just enough to make it impossible.
