I know the rule. I’m saying the rule is BS. Learn what people mean before trying to be cute.

The rule in this case is to protect the tackler. He was the one at risk for having a serious , life changing neck or spinal injury. They were teaching tacklers to keep their head up 40 years ago for that same reason.
