Y'know... I wasn't thrilled with the casting but wasn't writing him completely off like the rest of the interent. Then he was one of the few consensus positives that came out of BvS. But when I finally got around to watching it (the extended cut that I still haven't finished) I was kinda let down. He wasn't BAD per se but I certainly wasn't blown away.
Im ok with him going forward but I don't think he will be the iconic actor to play the character like RDJ:Iron Man, Chris Evans:Capt America or Chris Reeves:Superman.
I loved suicide squad . The squad was well casted . The music was great , and I loved the color Scheme . There is three story's in the movie . One of the story's with Harley and joker start to take over the movie near the end . Then the main story just stats to get in the way of what I want to see which is more joker and Harley together . I loved the chemistry with Robbie and Leto . The other side story just fell really flat to me . I really didn't care for that story .
Rating 6.5
Its a movie a would definitely recommend to see once but probably no more then once .

There is also a after credits scene after then movie ends so don't leave .
not sure i understand the bold. Harley/Joker subplot was basically over 2/3's of the way into the move, and i'm not even sure you can say it "took over" the actual movie once. Their scenes didn't account for more than 10 mins of the movie's run time, and they were pretty much just quick 1 min scattered, rushed moments.
in all honesty, the movie could have been made without the Joker and still be the same. He added very little to the story. I frankly disliked how they handled him. The Harley/Joker dynamic/backstory deserves much better.
technically, it's a mid-credits scene. there is no after-credits. once the mid-credit scene ends, you're good to go (the theater employees will love you for it)
Just saw it. I was pleasantly surprised. Much better than MoS and BvS. It didn't feel like a 2 1/2 hour movie. Margot Robbie and Will Smith were the highlights, of course. I love Jared Leto, and to his credit he wasn't in it much, but I wasn't overly thrilled with him. Did it not seem like he was just doing a bad impersonation of Ledger's Joker at times? It didn't seem like he made it his own like Ledger and his laugh can't touch Nicholson's. When he had his purple suit and tie on in the helicopter was nice though. And the flashback of Harley and him dancing was cool. I just couldn't stop staring at his Chris Johnson teeth. Anyways, it was fun. I hope to see more of Margot and Will though. They just have great chemistry, after two movies together.
That's probably because it was only 2 hours.
