The Lady Vols will be back next year. I'm disappointed but knew the Lady Bears would be a tough opponent. It may be difficult next season because thge Lady Bears will be back too. How well will UConn and Stanford be along with any other women's teams in the past such as Duke, Oklahoma, Texas Tech, Texas? Before starting next season with the Lady Vols I'd ask the following question: Knowing that what happend in 2010 in the NCAA tourney, how bad do you want to win a National Championship for the University of Tennessee? Prove it to me and to yourselves too! Give it all to the University of Tennessee!

It seems like everybody on here hates all of our coaches. Give Summit a break. She is the best women's coach ever. Pearl's not looking bad either. Dooley hasn't even coached a game yet and the sky is falling. Give it a rest!!!!!

What these players have overcame since last year is a big step foward I expected for the lady vols to be a little bit better than last year but not this good they are going to keep growing and getting better Pat Summitt just has to find a leader and I think Shakina Strickland can do it.

Everybody is certainly entitled to their opinion and I am not insinuating that the OP is not entitled to his. I will say, however, that it is hilarious to me how absurd some people's opinions are. They lost two games with a team filled with freshman and sophomores. No seniors. And the best overall player on the benched injured. Man, I wonder how many more games we could have won with a 'good coach' at the helm.

When no-life, pimple-poppers come onto fan boards like this one to post something stupid that's written for the sole purpose of generating angry comments that give some sort of warped validation to Little-Brains like this guy, it actually validates something Little-Brain didn't intend ... The passion of our fan base.

Think about it. LB didn't go the the James Madison board and write that Kenny Brooks should retire (BTW ... I'm only using them as an example and mean no disrespect to their fans, team, coach, etc.). As tiny and cobweb-encrusted as LB's so-called brain is, he generated just enough neural activity to know that coming to THIS board and writing something stupid about Pat would generate a LOT of comments.

So, it's really a weird, back-handed compliment to the Lady Vol Nation. For that, LB ... :good!:

I WILL HAVE TO AGREE WITH U ON THIS ONE. THE TEAM WAS SLOW TO GET UP AND DOWN THE COURT, IT WAS AS IF THEY DIDN'T CARE. THEY HAVE PLAYED BETTER BALL THAN THAT. THEY GOT WHAT WAS COMING TO THEM. THEY THINK ALL THEY HAVE TO DO IS STEP OUT ON THE COURT AND THE GAME IS OVER. I THINK PAT NEEDS TO GO, SHE HAS LOST HER TOUCH AND SO HAS THE REST OF THE STAFF, THEY SHOULD ALL GO!!! WE NEED A NEW SPARK IN K TOWN, SHE HAS DONE ALL SHE CAN DO AND WILL NOT WILL ANOTHER NATIONAL TITLE AS LONG AS SHE KEEPS DOING THE SAME THING'S OVER AND OVER. I BET NOW SHE WISHES SHE HAD GRINER ON THER TEAM AFTER THAT SPANKING THEY GOT. BAD FROM START TO FINISH. SHE AND HER STAFF LOOKED AS IF THEY DIDN'T CARE, THERE WAS NO FIRE AND SPARK LIKE IN THE PAST. WE NEED TO START OVER, AND DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT HER SON COMING ON BOARD, WE HAVE SEEM ENOUGH OF THE SUMMITT AND IT'S TIME FOR A CHANGE.
