Dumbest thing I've read all day. We won a National Championship a couple years back, we STILL get to recruits, and she is STILL a hell of a coach. The competetion in w basketball is getting better JUST LIKE in m basketball. Do you also think that UNC and UCONN should fire their head coaches? While Pat is reppin that .800+ win percentage she stays. When we don't make the NCAA tourney we'll talk about it. Neither of those will happen though, she'll be the Joe Pa of w basketball hahaha. Or we will find out she is the terminator.

She is a very interesting team development coach. championship.....down year.....good year/ncaa tourney.....championship, etc. ....how can you complain about that?

armchair...harumphh...though this group of "girls" isn't mentally tough, for you to say that Pat Summitt isn't good enough to coach the team means one of two things: (1) you are a trolling bottom-feeder or (2) simply dumber than a rock.

than Griner, and is a bigger girl. She also has more experience. So this notion that we were helpless before the Griner beast is cheap excuse making. Let's see what happens if baylor plays Uconn.

Our centers were awful--FUNDAMENTALLY bad--and overall the Vols played a TERRIBLE game: shot 30 percent and totally collapsed in the last 10 minutes, partly if not mostly because Summitt played some of the girls too much--starting with Bjorklund, who played the whole game and was totally gased and totally ineffective. I'm sure there are a few in state park, PA who think joepa should still be coaching. There is no reason why we should have a big, slow team playing 70s-style basketball.

dude, get a life please. The only problem I saw was with the girls becoming reliant upon the jump shot when they were sinking them and forsaking the paint. This team has 0 seniors, and only 3 juniors(Baugh didn't play this season). Considering the vast improvement this team made from last season to this, I think Pat's ability to coach is indisputable. Pat is one of the greatest coaches in men's or women's basketball, and that hasn't changed.

This squad has been injury plagued the past couple of year. The talent recruited isn't seeing the floor, forcing younger, weaker players to fill in.

It's State College . . . and whatever the old guy is doing has led to about 10 wins a year the past 4 or 5 years.
