So what happens if stone, rogers, ambles, and robinson, or maybe all five of them want to sign with tennessee. What do we do? You def gotta make room for stone, rogers, ambles, and robinson. But according to how many scholarships are left, one of these guys will be left out. Help Please??

ralph williams is going elsewhere. we will have room for those 4. after that, i dont know.

I tried to look it up, but couldn't find it anywhere.

I assume we'll overbook like the airlines do, and take the top 30 guys. If kids like Williams can de-commit, we can de-commit. I see no problem since it goes both ways.

How does the process work?

When they verbally commit (prior to NSD) are they receiving a written offer of a scholarship in the mail, and calling the school and saying "on NSD I'll sign"?

Or is the LOI in this paperwork, so they all have it, its just a matter of who sends it back on NSD?

Or is it all verbal until NSD, then the paperwork exchange takes place?

You know as well as i do if bama had offered the kid he would have been theres but there at the point now were they are getting the elite players they want.see were just not there anymore and wont be for a few years.and the fact that the coaching carousel killed us some too isnt helping that.i personally am happy with this kid though.i think he is a very good prospect and the fact that he wasnt a highly rated kid will probably make him work harder in college.(lets hope)

They already have 28 commits and there in on a few more that they wont turn down.so u know they are gonna tell these kids to look elsewhere if they can get some kids like lattimore or jeffery whitaker....not like we would be the only school to decommit from a player..

i sure wont fault you for going to bama.sometimes we do things we have to not always what we want to.I personally think that it speaks volumes as to just how big of a UT fan you are.I mean hell u went to school there and live there and you still support the vols.Your a class act in my book.I know this post was off the subject but i just wanted to tell u how i personally appreciate fans like yourself man!

You are worried about something that will not happen. Cdd knows how to recruit and the way the class looks should tell you we are going to lose some "commits" and we aren't getting most of those guys. There will be room for the top guys your trying to pin down specific facts on a fluid situation of which no one here has enough information to accurately address.

rogers, ambles, and stone are the ones i really want to sign with us out of the group that was hear this weekend.
