Sunseri headed to FSU...

I am also almost certain that you are correct. We pay the difference on the other assistants, but Chaney and Sunseri get their entire amount regardless of how much their new job pays.

With chaney having a guaranteed buyout then SS will almost certainky get all his buyout money. Can't imagine SS having anything less than JC

Hope the difference in paying the buyout is true, that'd help. Good luck to Sal in Florida, doubt he'll be missed much in Big Orange Country. : )>

He could screw us by having FSU pay him a dollar a year.
Since they are required, in their contract, to make reasonable efforts to find work to help offset the buyout....I'm pretty sure a good lawyer could threaten a lawsuit if he did that. That's a low-class move. It's not UT's fault he stunk it up so bad. We already got hosed, paying him handsomely to sink this ship.

Pretty sure his contract buyout was guaranteed. We have to pay his full buyout regardless of if FSU pays him $5 mil a year.

And before some of you say Hart screwed us with that contract, I'd imagine it was the only way we were getting anyone to come with all the speculation on Dooley.
Wrong. Hart negotiated a pro-rated deal.

LB's coach for sure, I mean can anyone imagine him being hired as a DC given the job he did this year? He coached some NFL type guys from the LB's spot so at that he's not bad...sorry but a little puke just came up in my throat after sayin that...

Some of you act you are budget hawks on Capitol Hill. Please go to work on the fiscal cliff.

Cheek and Hart have all the money stuff figured out. Just ask them. Cheek was kind enough to give the UTAD some of its money back, but that will never happen again because it is his and the academic side's money per the most recent press release. That means there won't be any more buy outs while they are there. They are all in with their chips on Butch Jones and staff.

It better work. If it don't and the losses and empty seats start getting bad, there will be no change in coaching staffs as long as those two are in charge.

Good luck to Sal. Was in over his head as DC with Dools. But he got a financial windfall and now gets to coach top athletes at a top tier program. He took a lot of abuse and deservedly so. But he's the one laughing now.

He's Right. It is reduced by the amount of any future employment.
