Sunseri headed to FSU...

If I'm not mistaken, Sal's buyout is guaranteed and the amount UT pays is not based on how much any other program pays him. He is laughing at Dave Hart all the way to the bank... Just like Dooley is laughing at Mike Hamilton.

I thought that only Dooley's salary was guaranteed and that we would only owe the difference of what another school paid and what we would have paid. Therefore, the costs of the buy out are going to be greatly reduced. It appears that most, if not all, of the old assistants will be coaching next year, so we must have had a decent staff.

Regardless, I hope Sal does most of the recruiting on the defensive side at FSU.

Sals buyout is offset by what he would make at FSU.

He could screw us by having FSU pay him a dollar a year.

That's not allowed to happen anymore! If a contract buyout is in play, FSU would have to pay him the Average price of what position he would be coching! Or Co-Ordinator if that's what they hired him to do. Either figure would caculated from the coaches of the ACC. That prevents lowballing bids like that.
