Danny White has no leverage against the AA right now. He’s at their mercy as far as the big ruling coming up concerning football.

Just out of curiosity, what should they do that they have not already done? Two evenly ranked teams with identical results hosting the regional last year. It would be nice to be on the side of the victorious conquerer on hostile soil. Left a bad taste to lose the super regional at home last year.

That’s NCAA politics for you. I’m not surprised that Hattiesburg was chosen. Not when a family member of a USM player is on the selection committee and the USM head coach is retiring after the season.

Our team just went to Clemson and swept their regional. I think we are battle tested enough to win in Hattiesburg. Let’s go win 2 and send another coach into retirement.

That's the big chip to get off this teams shoulder even though not many current players played much in that regional. Simply do to USM what ND did to us last year. My gut says we have the momentum. I like our chances.
