They are good but nothing special. They have had to come out of the losers bracket twice already to get to this point. Penn had plenty of chances to beat them. I don’t see USM scoring 8 runs in the 8th inning to beat UT.
USM won’t be facing Penn, Samford, or App State anymore. I like our chances in 2.

I like 'em better in Knoxville. Is Tennessee guaranteed a certain number of tickets for fans or will it be 100% USM fans?

Also, a Penn player that got called out for strike 3 with bases loaded due to the "batter ready" clock Ump called him on a strike immediately after he got set at the 10s mark. That was a pivotal moment in Sunday's game that could have had a significant impact on how their first game against SM ended.

They scored 22 runs on Penn in two games, beat Auburn pretty handedly. Vols need to go into Hattiesburg, and take all their anger out on them for not being awarded the hosting site for the Super. I think they are a good team, but I feel that UT's pitching depth and bats finally coming alive will make this a 2 game sweep......even in Hattisburg

Those 22 runs are a little miesleading. Penn was down 3-2 in the top of 8th in game 2 and ran out of pitching and USM scored 8 runs in 1 inning. Game 3 similar thing happened. USM was up 1 and come the 7th inning and scored 5 runs in that one inning. USM in both games was actually losing and had to come back from behind. USM also pitched it’s ace Friday and threw 123 pitches and turned around and started him on game 3. UT isn’t Penn and will not give up 13 runs in 2 innings. USM is 1-3 against the SEC this year. UT will be fine and handle them in 2.

Every team when they play at home get calls happens in all sports college and pro,might be just one to change the game but it happens.Doesnt matter anyway Tennessee is more talented in all areas and will win no matter home or away

Indiana State was unable to host due to a conflict with another event. They released a statement on it.
