Supernatural

Dangit, Dean...

Yea,,major screw up on his part.

At this point it would not surprize me for him to kill everybody with the first blade. Have no ideal how they end the season no hint of anything on the web other than Sam and Dean are faced with a new predicament something they've never see before. Bring it on.

I do know one thing thats coming.

Kansas: Carry on wayward son.

Carry on, my wayward son
For there'll be peace when you are done
Lay your weary head to rest
Don't you cry no more

Once I rose above the noise and confusion
Just to get a glimpse beyond this illusion
I was soaring ever higher, but I flew too high
Though my eyes could see I still was a blind man

Though my mind could think I still was a mad man
I hear the voices when I'm dreamin', I can hear them say

Carry on, my wayward son
For there'll be peace when you are done
Lay your weary head to rest
Don't you cry no more

Masquerading as a man with a reason
My charade is the event of the season
And if I claim to be a wise man, it surely means that I don't know
On a stormy sea of moving emotion

Tossed about I'm like a ship on the ocean
I set a course for winds of fortune, but I hear the voices say

Carry on, my wayward son
There'll be peace when you are done
Lay your weary head to rest
Don't you cry no more

Carry on, you will always remember
Carry on, nothing equals the splendor
Now your life's no longer empty
Surely heaven waits for you

Carry on, my wayward son
There'll be peace when you are done
Lay your weary head to rest
Don't you cry (don't you cry no more

Will they play up the Cain and Abel angle and have brother against brother?

Or will God return? Maybe next season they'll search for God?

Lots of ways they could go.

Wow, what a fantastic episode. Every actor was at the top of their game. Watching Dean die was heartbreaking, and now he's come back as a demon? That was shocking! Now the dreaded wait for season 10!

I knew, thought I knew he would return as a demon when he and Crowley had their conversation about cain being able (ironic word choice) to survive because he was a demon. Metatron not being dead vex's me. And metatron used Cass's Grace to start it all in motion, Where the hell is it?

Just finished binge watching this season.

Dean as a demon. This next season has to give us God IMO

My personal opinion, the final season, whenever it may be, should be about finding out where God went. To end the series before exploring that mystery would just be criminal.

I am not against it continuing if it's done correctly, every time we think it should end the writers blow your mind.
If it does end I agree with the above with a few additions. The Supernatural books are confirmed as canon by god or whatever set of circumstances. The Winchester brothers are publicly acknowledged as hero's ( hey if they can be called mass murderers) And Sam and Dean are Given Titles by God.
I don't what to see any end thats ever been done before. No fade to black or white. No time traveling or dreaming sequence so it never real happened crap. And no freaking sunsets. I what one of WTF or what just happened moments where your jaw drops so hard it breaks a floor joist. AMEN.

They did that already when Sam got locked in the pit with Lucifer and Michael (the fact nobody has tried to get them out surprises me). I'm not sure they could top that bittersweet moment, personally.

Mark Sheppard (Crowley) set to become series regular in season 10.

Season 10 is going to focus on Dean and Crowley, Sam and Cass and Cass and metatron and his diminishing grace. Crowley and his son (it is assumed). But it looks like Dean will be trained by Crowley as a demon.

Mark Sheppard should've gotten more screen time than he's already gotten personally. I felt the same way on Battlestar Galactica when he absolutely was one of the best characters on that show (a lawyer no less)

So.... just a thought.

If the First Blade made Cain such a badass, shouldn't Dean be the same way? Like, Knight of Hell level badass?

.......so i've been reading around the web and found some interesting subject matter on the possibility of an 11th season. Did you know that Jensen Ackles aka Dean had to turn down the role of "Hawkeye on the Avengers" and that marvel continues to remind him of their interest in him. But hey thats not all Warner Brothers has a strong relationship with him as well. based on what I read I don't see an 11th season with him being a part of it.

The interesting thing about this show and the CW is that it's president is a real fan of the show and has stated that as long as the ratings hold and the show runners and actors want to continue. It will go on. Even possibly without Dean. I believe it could still be a very good show without him.

With what happened to abbadon wasn't that already shown?
This first blade comes with a heavy price. Not just the mark but the side effects seems vastly similar to venom.

Antagonistic, insulting, disrespectful, also predatory
attacker. The blade can be summed up as as detrimental as taking steroids, drinking alcohol constantly, along with heroine and cocaine all every two hours.

The whole season which I think is four where Sam and Dean talk to some guy saying God doesn't want to have anything to do with them quite frankly seem like a test.
The saying don't believe everything you hear applies.

It seems that chuck is a prophet has that ever been answered or is it ambiguous?

I'm talking a whole other level of badass than abbadon. Cain killed all but one of the knights of hell, dean barely killed one. Plus, dean was tortured in hell already, spent time in purgatory, and killed monsters for a living. Cain, as far as we know, wasn't anything like that before the blade. This should be like giving batman superman's powers. Or at least wolverine's

I could see the story arching at some point with dean at least temporarily becoming the King Of Hell.

.....and about that time Lucifer and\or Michael are loosened\set free\realeased upon the world.

Man I love speculating about the plot on this show.

Well chuck disappears at the end of season five, and Sam returns.

This does make me wonder who was responsible for removing Sam from hell, and if chuck is a human prophet then who teleported Him out of the house.

As in bring Lucifer back?
Make him the bigshot of some fictional bad company that would be terrifying if he were to be brought back. Basically would be like the lawfirm in Angel but one guy that is pulling all the strings.

He may be one of the greatest villains in tv shows and fictional history, also one of the most damn delusional ones.

It almost seem like having finished season five it was meant to be the end, Dean rides off in the sunset to live a normal life with a woman he knows , Castiel the sheriff to bring order in heaven.

It was meant to be the end. From the start the original producer said 5 seasons. But the fans and money won out.........
