I am in! Why should we not support him? Agree or disagree with the hire but you should throw your support behind him regardless! He is accepting a position with and a mess along with it! Any man wishing to take on the challenge and correct the ship, I support!

Let me start by going over the state of our basketball program, we have sanctions looming and the AD will more than likely be fired soon. With that being said, I feel fortunate that we got a coach like Cuonzo Martin to come here. This guy is a young up and comer that was going to take over the Purdue job if their coach leaves for Missouri. He gets praise from everyone that he has ever worked with and is highly regarded. His story should be able to relate to alot of the kids that we are trying to recruit and he can mentor these kids in a way much like what coach Dooley is doing with the football program. This guy basically went from homeless growing up to playing in the NBA, oh yeah then beat Lymphoma (cancer) at the age of 26. I believe that he will instill the integrity and dicipline that this team needs going forward, especially considering how soft we played this year. I am a fan of the University, so I am going to get behind our new coach and support the hell out of him until I have a reason not to. Go Big Orange!

It's all the Jack Nuts that thought all would be fine if we just got rid of Pearl. Be prepared for .500 or less bball for awhile. That's just a fact.

I will always support this university...no matter who the coaches are. Hopefully everyone will at least give him a chance to succeed before all the negative nancys come out.

He is now the head BB coach at UT, ergo I want him to be wildly successful.

if he keeps the status quo and makes it to the tourney next year people will be saying "bruce who?"

I love this hire. He's young and has basketball knowledge that will persuade Tobias to stay. Plus it means I get to change my name to the "Con"victs. The students will be dressed in black with white stripes. I can see it now.

Coach has my support and prayers, he will surely need them. My support however doesn't change my desire to see Hammy replaced, and soon.

I watched the final reg season game between Wichita and MSU thinking that Marshall might be our coach and ended up being more impressed with Martin's team. I was a little disappointed at the time.:)

He's the UT head coach. Like the hire or not, as a true fan you have to back the man and hope he is successful.
