Asking because I honestly don't know..............Shady lawyers making payments to porn stars and hookers as hush money? Burying unflattering stories in the New York media? Sounds like a criminal organization to me. Not to mention when the fiscal records come out and we see the extent of bribery, money laundering, and bank fraud.
Depends on where the money came from. But it is indicative of an organization with serious ethical violations and criminal behavior.
But you have been claiming that this was a crime before even having a clue of where the money came from. You think it came from anywhere other than his pocket? Am I missing something here?
With this line of thinking, do you suggest that anyone and everyone that pays off people by either settlement outside of court and NDAs or by just cutting a check to make the problem going away is doing so illegally? We better lock up the Mannings then.
I think the crimes are bank fraud, money laundering, obstruction of justice, conspiracy, and treason.
I don't think the payment to Daniels is a crime unless the funds came from campaign donations or involved bank fraud. I just think it is something a criminal organization would do one week before an election. I'm not concerned with what the Mannings did; they didn't break any laws and are private citizens, not public servants.
Again.....please provide something concrete that proves this guy committed any crime. Trump was not a public servant during this time, but yet somehow since he now is, that equals a crime. Just dont follow the logic that arrives at he did something illegal because he paid off a pornstar.
So, the Pentagon claims all missiles fired on Syria hit their taget...that none were engaged, but there are videos circulating showing that's not the case...
Russia and Syria claim that 71 out of the 105 were intercepted...and military infrastructure was also targeted...

Hillary has been under investigation off and on for decades, and nothing. She isn't in prison, she isn't going to prison, and that is with the full weight of the GOP trying to destroy her and her family.
An investigation is ongoing into Trump by Republicans he appointed before trying to clean house. It is ongoing.
From what I have read and looked into, I think Trump is looking at obstruction of justice, conspiracy, money laundering, bank fraud, and treason.
Apologies for the terse other response. It gets a little heated in the forum sometimes and I try to avoid name-calling, but it happens.
The investigation is ongoing. Mueller will bring the scope of Trump's crimes to light. Paying off a pornstar will be the least of his concerns.
Depends on where the money came from. But it is indicative of an organization with serious ethical violations and criminal behavior.
Being honest, other than the treason charge(which I'm not buying), I think Trump is not above committing those crimes. He's obviously an egomaniac. I don't believe anyone here will deny that. I'm sure there are times he feels he's above the law.
On that same note, I'm fairly sure there were times the Clintons(more specifically Hillary) felt they were above the law as well. Sure, Hillary wasn't convicted of anything, but what does that really prove? It doesn't necessarily prove innocence, just that she covered her tracks very well. Call it coincidence if you want, but quite a few Clinton associates met conspicuous ends.
So maybe you're convinced that Hillary never did wrong or broke the law, but I'm not. Just as I'm not going to say Trump never broke any laws, because I believe it likely he has. But will anything be proven? How long will the investigation go? How many laws will be bent in the pursuit(because I still question if lawyer/client privilege has been violated)? How much taxpayer money will go into the witchhunt? And when all is said and done, what will be proved? Say Trump gets impeached by the House but the Senate doesn't convict, same as Bill Clinton? What exactly will that prove? He has two years left, then he can be voted out of office. In so many ways, I can't help but wonder if the countless attacks won't make him a sympathetic figure to the public. All of these attacks could very well backfire and result in his re-election. What then?
What the country really needs is to step back from the ridiculous fray and find some quality candidates. Give Americans a better choice and they'll most likely take it. But they'll never notice if the circus never stops.
If we never hold politicians accountable, we will never get the types of politicians you described that we so desperately need. I think Hillary has been a divisive figure and a good scapegoat for the Right. But decades of investigations have yielded nothing. Maybe she covered her tracks well, but I don't buy it. The Republican party has attempted to destroy her for years, they would have found something.
If Trump broke the law, he should be held accountable. You and I are held accountable, why not him? Maybe impeachment will go no where, but I want that stain on his record if he committed crimes. I want his family's reputation destroyed and maybe half the country will wise up and not vote for him again. If they do then we are probably too far gone to be saved.
Or indicative that the porn star was trying to and successful at blackmailing him. I'll agree that adultery is unethical, but criminal behavior could be argued for the porn star, not necessarily Trump. Lots of politicians have a problem keeping it in their pants. Both Republicans and Democrats. If an affair is grounds for impeachment, we're going to lose most of Congress and a load of other government officials as well.
The porn star is not the issue, just a scandal. It is everything else that Mueller is putting together that I am interested in and that will be his downfall.
