Tajh Boyd

Boyd is listed at 6'2 on many sites. most of him list him at 6'1.. thats a good height for a QB.. he can also grow a little more..
remember Tebow is only 6'2 also.. soooo.

I think Boyd would be great for the offense that Clawson WANTS to run. He can't run his style with the QB's on the roster now. that has to be important to a prized recruit. West Va already has a big qb recruit as does Michigan. Not the same style as Clawson's, but.....why have to battle other frosh at WV & Mich. UT looks like a great place for someone wanting to play ASAP.

Boyd WAS the big time QB for WV.

haha....the more i hear about how Boyd is interested in us and he wants to run a pro style offense the more i think he is ours. if we can only keep it close this weekend.....

If he is a mobile QB then height is not as much as a factor.

the constant coaching rumors are the only thing that will keep boyd (and many others) from commiting

We have to still recruit these guys. Rumors or not. I think they know what could happen coaching wise here. It wouldn't be a surprise to anyone.

Lets just hope the trip to the campus and gametime experience can stick with them.

its real encouraging for him to see how bad our o is we will get him if he wants to come hopefully!!!!!!!!!!!!

He probably either thought they were so bad I definetly don't want to play for them, or they were so bad I do want to play for them so I can turn them around.

Just some information from today's tailgating. I got a friend from Hampton area, and he knew Tajh Boyd's high school coach pretty well. He showed me a picture on his cell phone, which was taken in Tajh's visit this week: Tajh with Fulmer in Fulmer's office (I believe), and Tajh was holding the crystal trohpy from 1998. I was drunk when I saw the picture, otherwise I should ask my friend to send me the picture so I can post it here. But anyway, he told me Tajh is very high on Tennessee, but not if Fulmer stepped down.

Dear god change your avatar...think of the children.

I wish I did not feel this, but in the current situation, Tajh Boyd is a MUST-get. I don't see Nick Stephens being our starting QB next year. We have backed ourselves into a hole in 2009 recruiting and I don't know the status of BJ Coleman, but the current players at QB, will not suffice.

With the loss of Nunes, we have not made strides on luring any recruits from a commitment, and we have focused mainly on Boyd and Newsome. The qb situation and the season for 08 and 09 will be similar if we do not add someone special to our QB mix.

he told my friend, (who does or will play for the vols), that he is pretty much all but commited. my friend believes he will be all vol
