Tajh Boyd

There is a rumor today that he has on Rivals. No confirmation. Brent Hubbs said that he was at school, then practice today and has been unavailable.

everything i've read on Volquest seems to indicate that he was committing to UT no matter what. He may have had a change of heart given that he's a dual-threat QB and we're getting ready to run a Pro-system.

If I were him, i'd go to West Virginia.

Mullet...please go away. I like alot of your posts but you are being a butt with this one...Go eat raw Deer with Ted K?

I wonder if anybody has figured out he could be a potential Donovan McNabb clone-he has the speed and the arm.

Stop saying Boyd is a scrambler or dual threat. It says on his scout profile "He is more pocket passer than dual-threat." Yes he is mobile but he is a pocket passer, 26 tds to 6 picks last year. It seems all some posters know is he is a black qb so they say he is a dual-threat and imply he is not a good passer. All his recruiting profiles rave about his passing but say he can run but they do not classify him as a dual-threat. Like some one else said think Donovan McNabb. McNabb has had great passing numbers in the NFL but can or could run.

He passes well and he can run...bro like it or not, that's a dual threat QB.

i just said he was a pocket passer, that just happens to run a 4.5. only runs whenn he has to. so you can call him a dul-threat because he can run

If you can run and throw, you're considered "dual threat". Whether you're red, white, blue, yellow, pink, brown, black, aqua, or any other color. What the heck does that have to do with race??

Actually if you go on rivals, and click "Dual" his name will show up. He runs a "4.7" which I believe doesn't give him enough credit for how fast he really is. Sorry dude, he is a dual threat.

From what I've read, Boyd decommited from West Virginia because they do not use enough pro-style sets. Earlier he stated that he'll stay committed to Tennessee as long as they don't hire a coach who runs the spread.

I think a lot of people assume all dual threat QB's are average passers that are great runners. That's not the case with Boyd. He's probably one of the better passers in the country.

If he goes anywhere (highly unlikely) it won't be WVU. What the hell was the point of decommitting in the first place then?
